The Crucifixion and Death of Our Lord Jesus
Christ
In the fifth sorrowful mystery we contemplate
how Our Lord Jesus Christ was stripped of
His garments, nailed to the Cross between
two thieves and gave up His spirit in the
presence of His Most Holy Mother, a few faithful
followers, and enemies that would not cease
to insult Him.
Let us beseech the Virgin Mother, whose heart
was pierced with a sword of sorrow, to obtain
for us the grace to make of our life a holocaust
by taking the vocation that God designed
to give us from all eternity to its final
consequences.
Our Father, Hail Mary (ten times), Glory
be to the Father, O my Jesus..
