The Glorious Mysteries

The Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ
In the first glorious mystery we contemplate how Our Lord Jesus Christ triumphant over sin and death resurrected on the third day, immortal and radiant with glory.
Let us beseech Mary, Queen of all hearts, to inebriate our souls with jubilant enthusiasm at this prefigurement of the triumph of her Immaculate Heart and the restoration of the Reign of Christ on earth.

The Ascension of Our Lord into Heaven

In the second glorious mystery we contemplate how Our Lord Jesus Christ gloriously ascended into heaven forty days after His resurrection, in the midst of His Most Holy Mother and the Apostles.
Let us beseech Mary, refuge of sinners, to extirpate from our souls all the attachment to material goods and elevate our thoughts toward the desire of heavenly treasure.

The Descent of the Holy Spirit upon Our Lady and the Apostles
In the third glorious mystery we contemplate how Our Lord Jesus Christ sent the Holy Spirit to Mary Most Holy and the Apostles under the form of tonogues of fire. The Apostles, who until that time were lukewarm, spiritually short-sighted and full of fear, were instantly transformed into men full of ardent zeal for the glory of God.
Let us beseech Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit, to say but a word to her Divine Spouse, and our souls - so weak, tepid and weighed down with sin - will be transformed immediately.

The Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary into Heaven
In the fourth glorious mystery we contemplate how the Virgin Mary left this life, several years after the resurrection of her Son and was taken body and soul into heaven amidst choirs of angels, by the same Christ Our Lord.
Let us beseech Mary, Virgin most powerful,  so that animated with a lively faith and purified by the exemplary practie of purity, we may fight for the establishment of reign on earth and in so doing be worthy of contemplating her heaven for all eternity.

The Coronation of othe Blessed Virgin Mary as Queen of Heaven and Earth
In the fifth glorious mystery we contemplate the glorious coronation of the Virgin Mary in heaven, by her Divine Son, as Queen of angels and of men.
Let us beseech Mary Most Holy to be our Mother of mercy, supporting us when we grow weak, raisng us when we fall, and loving us at every moment, so that like the agnels we will be able to serve her always and in everything as our heavenly Queen, the light of our life.
