Don Bosco saw a Holy Father sailing a ship [the Church] and being attacked by many other ships [some Christian and some not]. This Holy Father was gravely wounded but did not die. A second time the Pope was struck but this time he fell and died. The enemies from the attacking ships sang with joy at his death, but no sooner had he died than another Pontiff was elected so fast that he replaced the pope as soon as his death was announced. The new Pope guided the Ship between the two columns - the Eucharist and Our Lady.

In the secret of Fatima it states that the pope is killed, not wounded. In the prophecy of Don Bosco, the pope is wounded and later killed. Also according to the prophecy of St. Malachi the next pope will be the pope of peace. If I am correct, this pope could still be in for a bad time, but then I was also fooled by the Y2K thing myself. If anyone takes me too seriously, they have little intelligence. Lets each of us think for ourselves except for the doctrine of the Church and in that - let us obey the Church.

LUCIA AND ABORTION

Another thing I learned in Fatima should have been on every front page of every Catholic paper in America and the world, but sad to say it is not. The government of Portugal put out for vote an initiative to legalize abortion. In Portugal an initiative must have a certain percentage of the voters to pass. If the voters do not vote at all, it will not pass. On the eve of the vote Carlos Evaristo C.V.V. went on National Television to tell the people not to vote at all.

I have asked him to take this video and overlay it with an English translation and send it to me. I will then make it available to all the right to life organization in America without charge.

The jest of this video is this. Carlos told the people of Portugal that at least 70% of them have had a prayer answered by Our Lady of Fatima at one time or another. In honor of Our Lady of Fatima they should stay away from the voting and not vote at all. He then put on the television an interview with Sister Lucia, who told the people about the great sin of abortion. What she said is what no one even in the Right to Life Movement in America is willing to say and that is that even the mother should be punished in some way for the sin of abortion.

If I can get a transcript of this interview I will put it up on the web site. Of interest to note, however, is that before Lucia was even born, a young girl in her little town was raped by a doctor. The parents could not bring themselves to recognize the boy child that was born from this rape, and Lucia's mother took care of the child until it was welcomed back to the young girl's home. Later this boy married Lucia's older sister and they had many children, two who became nuns and one who became a priest.

P0RTUGAL BLESSED BY OUR LADY

So much is unknown about Fatima by so many, even me and I though I was an expert on Fatima. What I have learned on this trip and what I continue to learn would make a new book. What I offer here is just a small part of what I think most people do not know or have forgotten. It has to do with apparitions of the angel before the apparitions of Our Lady. These apparitions have to do with St. Michael and a prophecy about the Mass.

On August 13, 1385, 532 years before the apparitions of Fatima, Blessed Nuno de Santa Maria (a Knight of the round table) was about to go to battle to save Portugal from losing its national independence. Outnumbered by his enemy Blessed Nuno and his army kneeled down to pray. Where? At the Cova da Iria, where Our Lady appeared 532 years later. When he knelt down to pray, the horses began to kneel also and he prayed to Our Lady and to Saint Michael, the guardian of Portugal and the Angel of Peace. After winning this battle he came back to this same site and offered thanksgiving for the victory. There is overwhelming evidence that St. Michael is the Angel of Peace and the guardian of Portugal from the history of the saints of Portugal, which can be found in Carlos Evaristo's book on Saint Michael. But let us go on to Fatima.

In 1915 Lucia, Teresa Matia, Maria Rosa, Matias and Maria Justino stopped at Loca do Cabeco to pray the rosary, when they all saw a figure of human, white and transparent. This vision happened two more times to these children but no message was made. The 4^th appearance of the angel took place in 1916 when Lucia was 9 years old, along with Jacinta and Francisco. The angel said,　"Do not be afraid. I am the angel of Peace. Pray with me."　Prostrating on the ground he then said,

"My God, I Believe, Adore, Hope and Love Thee; I ask pardon for those who do not Believe, do not Adore, do not Hope and who do not Love Thee." He rose and said, "Pray this way. The hearts of Jesus and Mary are attentive to the voice of your supplication".

Michael was made the angel of peace in Portugal many years before.

The 5^th apparition of the Angel occurred in the summer of 1916 at a well behind Lucia's house as the three children were playing.

"What do you do? Pray, Pray much! The Hearts of Jesus and Mary have over you designs of Mercy. Offer constantly to the Most High prayers and sacrifices".

"How are we to sacrifice?" asked Lucia.

"Of everything, you can, offer a sacrifice in act of reparation for the sins with which He is offended and of supplication for the conversion of sinners. Attract in this way over your nation, Peace. I am its Guardian Angel. The Guardian Angel of Portugal. Above all accept, with submission, the suffering that the Lord may send."

The 6^th apparition of the Angel took place in autumn of 1916. He brought with him a large Host and an empty chalice that he left suspended in the air. Prostrating in front in adoration, he repeated three times this prayer.

"Holy Trinity - Father, Son, and Holy Ghost, I Adore Thee profoundly and I offer the Precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all of the tabernacles on earth, in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges, and indifference by which He Himself is offended. And by the infinite merits of His most Sacred Heart and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg the forgiveness of poor sinners."

While he did this, the suspended host emitted drops of blood into the empty chalice. Rising, he then took the Host and gave it to Lucia and the chalice with the Precious Blood to Jacinta and Francisco saying:

"Take and drink the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ, horribly outraged by ungrateful men. Make reparation for their crimes and console your God."

Again he prostrated on the ground and repeated the previous prayer three times.

What you must see in this apparition is the reverence the angel paid towards the Eucharistic Host, which is God. This reverence is what is lacking in our churches today, but was not lacking in 1916. This was a prophesy of our day and a warning that the lack of reverence is a grave sin, a sin against the Second Commandment, which is interpreted as meaning, "Do not treat God commonly." When we treat God in the Tabernacle commonly, we are sinning. When we treat the altar (the Holy of Holies) commonly, walking all around the holy ground without reverence and even fear, we are sinning. When we walk up and receive Our Lord in Communion without this reverenceand even fear, we are sinning. Let us imitate the angel, and say his prayer over and over until we live it.

In the giving of the Blood of Christ to Jacinta and Francisco he makes a theological statement that the entire Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity is in the bread and the Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity is in the Blood and there is no need for us to take both. The Priest takes both because he must separate the Body and Blood as was done on the Cross, but the people do not have to because God cannot be separated.

This does not mean that the New Mass is a bad Mass, but it has caused people to treat God commonly when said by a priest who does not know how to give God His proper reverence, and this irreverence is then passed on to the people who imitate the priest.

The 7^th apparition of the Angel took place on July 28^th, 1917 after the children saw Hell on July 13^th. Carolina dos Santos Carreira, aged 12, and another little girl aged 7 saw a boy of 10 or 12 years old with long blond hair and dressed in a white gown. He said, "Go there and pray three Hail Mary's."

Lucia was asked about this apparition and she asked Our Lady in August and it was confirmed that the angel did appear to these two children. Some believe that the angel was purifying the ground because of the apparition of Hell.

According to Lucia you can make the Five First Saturdays for other people besides yourself, even the most hardened sinner. How much better it is to love then to bring sinners to heaven, than seeing them perish!

So much more to say about what I am learning about Fatima, like the apparition of August 19^th was not August 19^th but August 15^th. That Lucia's father was not a drunk but a very saintly man; that her family was the most charitable of all families before the apparitions; that the apparitions destroyed their farm and their peace; and much much more but this newsletter is already long and these things must wait for another day.

But I must ask this to all those who follow false apparitions: "Do you pray the prayers of the angel of Portugal everyday? Do you pray them with your rosary? Do you pray them before Mass? Do you pray them after communion? Do you pray them at all? Do you know them by heart? Why not? Too busy with false prayers of other apparitions?

I am a Catholic because of Fatima. My faith went from my mind to my heart because of the statue of Fatima. And now I will spend the rest of my live in Fatima, spreading the messages of Fatima, preaching, writing and then dying in the Arms of Our Lady of Fatima.
