インタビューで｢あなたの最終的目標は？｣と聞かれた際、パヴォーネ神父は次のように答えました。

｢わたしたちの目標は中絶を法律で禁止するようにするだけではありません。今中絶に賛成する人たちにとっても、そういうことが望ましくなくすること、できなくすること、必要でなくすることです。つまり、中絶など考えることすらできなくすることです。今日、奴隷制度が考えられないように中絶ももはや考えられないようにしてしまうことです。そういう日はいつか必ず来ることでしょう｣。

When asked in an interview "What, ultimately, is your goal?"

Fr. Pavone responded "Our goal is more than making abortion illegal. It is
to make it undesirable, unavailable, and unnecessary in the eyes of those
who might do it. In short, it is to make abortion unthinkable. Our goal is
to　put abortion, historically, in the same place where slavery is today. And
that day will surely come."
